PhD candidates employed by WUR typically do not pay tuition and have temporary contracts. Scholarship PhD candidates must have guaranteed funding and meet living allowance minimums (e.g., €1950 per month for certain periods); WGS Sandwich PhD grant covers living allowance for 18 months and some travel and visa costs.
