Employed PhD candidates are hired with a salary and do not pay tuition fees. Scholarship PhD candidates receive a fellowship; for candidates starting between January 1, 2026 and July 1, 2026 the living allowance is stated as EUR 1,950 per month. Funding must be guaranteed before starting.
