PhD programmes are free of charge in Sweden (no tuition fees regardless of citizenship). Doctoral students are often employed to finance their studies (apply for doctoral student employment). If enrolled and taking additional Bachelor's or Master's courses outside the research programme, non-EU/EEA citizens must pay application and tuition fees.
