Fees and Funding

International tuition for Chemistry PhDs ranges from GBP 32,400 to GBP 38,400 depending on the project. For 2026/27 entry, fees cited are GBP 33,800 or GBP 39,600 depending on project. Fully funded 4-year scholarships cover fees, a stipend (GBP 20,780 – 25/26 UKRI rate) and a Research Training Support Grant. Note: only 30% of the cohort can be accepted from international applicants for the 2026-27 intake due to UKRI-EPSRC funding limitations.
