No tuition fees charged by the University of Cologne. Semester fee applies (EUR 335.65 per semester as of winter semester 2025/26; approx. EUR 2,013.90 total for a 3-year PhD). Fully funded PhD positions available as employment contracts with social benefits (TVL-13, 65%) with an approximate monthly gross salary of EUR 3,009.
