MPhil in Machine Learning

The MPhil in Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence is an 11-month full-time program offered by the Machine Learning Group, the Speech Group, and the Computer Vision and Robotics Group within the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge. The program is taught and is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the core principles of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and related fields. It aims to teach the state-of-the-art in machine learning, speech and language processing, and computer vision, equipping students with the skills for leading roles in industry or for doctoral study. The course covers theoretical concepts and practical skills, including modules on algorithms, data analysis, statistical methods, and the ethical implications of AI technologies.
