Fees and Funding

Non-refundable application fee for international applicants is USD 155.00 (international applicants are not eligible for fee waivers). Estimated annual cost for international graduate students is approximately USD 58,596, including UC tuition, campus fees, and non-resident supplemental tuition. International doctoral students are charged NRST until advancement to candidacy (an alternate figure of USD 15,102 annually was cited); after advancement, NRST may be waived for up to nine registered quarters. The International Doctoral Recruitment Fellowship (IDRF) may provide support for NRST. Contact the Office of International Students and Scholars for visas and other matters.
