M.Sc. in Urban Design

The Urban Design M.Sc. program at Technische Universität Berlin is an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary Master of Science degree, offered by the Faculty VI – Planning Building Environment. This full-time, on-campus program spans 4 semesters (2 years) and requires the completion of 120 ECTS credit points. The curriculum is taught primarily in English, with all compulsory courses delivered in English. A key focus is on combining architecture, urban and regional planning, urban sociology, and landscape architecture to critically reflect on cities and their design, addressing urbanization processes in an international context. The program also offers a dual degree option in cooperation with Tongji University in Shanghai, China.
