PhD projects are typically fully funded and appointed PhD candidates are salaried employees of Erasmus University Rotterdam (CAO-NU). For applicants not appointed as salaried PhD candidates, programme fees are EUR 10,000 per year for the first two years, EUR 7,000 for years 3 and 4, and EUR 6,000 for subsequent years, up to a maximum of EUR 46,000.
