Fees and Funding
PhD positions are fully funded (no tuition fees). Semester contribution approximately EUR 305 per semester (includes Deutschlandsemesterticket). PhD funding provided via German public salary scheme (TVL-E13 at 65%, monthly gross approx. EUR 3,010 in year 1) or Max Planck Society PhD support contract. Contracts include social benefits, health insurance, and 30 days vacation for three years.
