  • For English-taught programs: TOEFL iBT: minimum score of 90, IELTS Academic: minimum 6.5 (no section below 5.5), Or equivalent certifications. German proficiency is not required for English-track entry.
  • Admission is restricted and competitive. A faculty selection committee reviews academic qualifications, grades, and coursework relevance. Required documents include transcripts, course descriptions, proof of language proficiency, and any other program-specific materials.
  • From Summer Semester 2025, the Computer Science M.Sc. program is offered entirely in English. No German proficiency is required for admission or successful completion.
  • Students choose at least two specialization areas from options such as cryptography and security, parallel computing, system architecture, embedded systems, algorithm engineering, theoretical foundations, robotics and automation, anthropomatics, and telematics. Certificates are awarded for completing recognized profiles.
  • The program spans 4 semesters (full-time) with a maximum allowed duration of 7 semesters. It concludes with a Master’s thesis and awards a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree.
