Applicants must hold a Master's degree or equivalent that allows access to doctoral studies (European: at least 300 ECTS). Acceptable backgrounds include neuroscience, biological sciences, medical sciences, computer science, or related interdisciplinary fields. Applicants must comply with the MSCA mobility rule (not have resided or carried out main activity in the host country for more than 12 months in the 36 months prior to the call deadline). A good level of English is required but no specific standardized test scores are specified in the official documentation.

The IGNITION MSCA Doctoral Network offers 13 fully funded PhD positions with 36-month employment contracts. PhD students recruited under the MSCA Doctoral Network must not be charged tuition fees; training is funded by the MSCA grant.
