Applicants must hold a very good Master's degree in a relevant field. Research projects from the biological-chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnological scientific fields of food technology can be included in the doctoral programme. The doctoral thesis is typically carried out within a department research project. Enrollment as a doctoral student in the School of Graduate Studies at CIT via Fulda University of Applied Sciences is required.

Fulda University of Applied Sciences does not charge tuition fees; a semester contribution of EUR 360 per semester applies.
