Application fee is USD 105 (nonrefundable). PhD tuition for the first three years is USD 33,862 per academic semester (USD 67,724 per academic year). Students in year 4+ are charged a reduced tuition of USD 4,680 per academic term. The Graduate School generally covers tuition and fees for a PhD student's first five years; Duke and the department guarantee funding through the fifth year.
